Frequently asked questions

How do I start therefurbishment/redesign process?

Just reach out to us on WhatsApp or Instagram DM. We'll ask you to share a few clear pictures or videos of the jewellery you'd like to refurbish or redesign and we'll take it from there.

Do I need to visit AYCA forthe initial consultation?

Not at all. The entire initial consultation happens remotely. Once we've reviewed your pictures, we'll set up a video call to understand what you have in mind and explore design directions together.

Will I get an estimatebefore handing over my jewellery, and will the final cost match it?

Yes we share an approximate estimate based on your pictures, our discussion and the proposed design. This is indicative, since final costing depends on the actual gold and stone assessment once we physically receive your jewellery.

Will my gold weight remainexactly the same?

We aim to reuse your existing gold as much as possible, but the final weight can vary slightly depending on the new design and manufacturing process. Any additional gold needed will be communicated and reflected in your final bill.

Can my jewellery berestored to its original form afterward?

If your jewellery has been dismantled, altered or melted as part of the approved process, it generally cannot be restored to its original form which is why we make sure the design and scope are agreed upon before we begin.

What happens to my existing diamonds and stones?

Your diamonds and stones are carefully assessed for reuse in the new design wherever suitable. If additional stones are required, we'll discuss this with you first.
